Provenance: Plant originally from UC Berkeley BG 66.0516 Plant flowered here at UConn June 2003 - definitely not Sievekingia. After checking with various experts, it was concluded that this accession is in fact Stanhopea costaricensis and the name changed to reflect that fact.
