  • Description: To 2 feet or more, scapes much taller than leaves; leaf blades ovate, to 5 inches long, with 8-10 nerves on each side of midrib, cordate, pruinose beneath; flowers funnelform, pale lilac to violet, to 1.5 inches long, anthers purplish. Late spring to early summer. Japan.
