  • Description: This robust evergreen or semi- evergreen vine to 20 ft (6 m) has a few hooked spines. The 8 in (20 cm) leaves are very variable, simple or divided. The hanging flowerheads of lilac flowers are up to 6 in (15 cm) across, occurring in summer.
