  • Description: This hardy everygreen shrub is finer than the species Rosemary. It has culinary and medicinal uses. In medicine, the leaf aides the digestion of fats and increases the blood supply, stimulating circulation. The leaf is used in cooking by applying sparingly to all kinds of meats, mixing it with butter for vegetables, or to flavor bake potatoes. Rosemary branches can be placed thruought the house to scent the air or use the leaf in potpourri. Rosemary is great in the summer time because you can scatter the branches on the grill to discourage insects from your food.
