sect. Herreanthus
- Common Name:
- Family: Aizoaceae Rudolphi.
- Country of Origin: South Africa: SB 793, Namaqualand, NC

- Description: Dwarf succulent with velvety, windowed leaves, and large regal violet flowers in autumn. This species was known from a single, fairly small population on a quartzite mountain in eastern Namaqualand. Its conservation status is technically considered critically endangered, but recent reports from the field indicate that Conophytum regale is either extinct in the wild or very nearly so, due to an increase in poaching beginning in 2019 (M.Opel).
