- Description: Unusual for its dome-shaped overlapping or imbricate leaves in the fashion of rooftiles providing a covered walkway into the upper branches. The plant produces a network of roots beneath each leaf, exploiting nutrients resulting from the presence of the ant colony.
- Culture: Likes high humidity and warm temps year-round. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent scorching. Cooler temps in winter (low 60's) will initiate flowering.
