  • Description: Swollen irregular stem which produces spreading / climbing branches after rain, compound leaves, pale yellow fl, roundish orange fruits, attractive

    Transvaal: extends from the Potietersrust district southwards to Magaliesberg and Pretoria district
    Botswana: Kanye district

  • Culture: Sow seed spring. Cuttings will root but typically do not produce a caudex. The caudex should be in the shade, while the leaves prefer the sun. Use an acidic media.
  • USDA Zone: 11
Restrictions:

  • Poisonous Plant Parts - Not for Human Consumption
    Some members of this genus are used as fish poisons although we have no specific phytochemical data on this species at this time.
