  • Country of Origin: E. Asia - China. Occasionally naturalized in S.E. Europe
  • Habitat: Thickets, mountain ravines and forests.

  • Culture: Moist soil, typically pruned to maintain as a small shrub although plant can attain 50' in the wild.
