Many of the images displayed here were captured by our team of amateur botanists as part of a digital scavenger hunt wrapping up the 5-day KAST Module "Botany - Basic to Bizarre" held in early July 2009. During the week we explored many concepts ranging from ecosystems to morphological features, special adaptations and economically important plants we use (and often take for granted) in our every day lives.
