A distinctive, epiphytic, non-clumping staghorn, readily recognized by its broad, undivided fertile fronds which have prominent, raised veins. As well, the shield fronds have entire, but very wavy margins and sweep upwards and outwards in a very distinctive manner. Plants are cold sensitive but grow readily in a heated greenhouse with a minimum temperature of 15C.
