  • Description: Small glabrous vine to 2m. Leaves are bilobed and typically have 1-3 pairs of nectar-producing glands. Flowers are small - 10-12mm in diameter yet have all the characters of the larger Passiflora species.
  • Uses: Useful food plant for several species of Heliconiinae butterflies.
  • Culture: Flowers throughout the year when grown under tropical conditions, spring to autumn in cooler environments. Minimum temperature 45F. Performs well in the UConn greenhouse when grown in an 8-10" pot and trained on a small tomato cage.
