  • Query IPNI
  • Common Name:
  • Family: Hyacinthaceae

  • Country of Origin: South Africa
  • Habitat:

  • Culture: Litanthus pusillus is a winter growing, summer dormant plant from South Africa. It also likes to be kept warm in the winter but presents no special problems other than eventual crowding. It is not really a succulent but grows well it in succulent mix. Give it occasional water in the summer but don't know if it needs it. It can set a lot of seed in the greenhouse and is sometimes a weed in nearby pots, some of which are not summer dormant.
