- Description: This minature, epiphytic species is found in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi and Zambia in riverine forests in gorges and along streams on small twigs overhanging water as well as evergreen or woodland forests away from water with high rainfall at elevations of 60 to 1800 meters with short to 4" [10 cm] long carrying 2 to 8 oblanceolate to obovate, leathery to slightly fleshy, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms with a arching to pendant, 12" [30cm] long, inflorescence that carries from 3 to 25, fragrant [lily of the valley] flowers
- Culture: Flowers occuring in the summer and fall and is best cork mounted with cool to hot temperatures, moderate shade, high humidity in the growing season and a cooler drier rest
